Are you passionate about podcast production, video editing, and female leadership? Do you love storytelling and know how to create engaging content for both audio and video platforms?
Femme Lead is looking for a Podcast Producer to assist our founder, Alexandra Ciobotaru, in producing and editing our podcast, which features inspiring women in leadership from around the world. Our goal is to amplify female role models and motivate women to pursue leadership careers.
Each episode is recorded remotely via Riverside.fm and published on both streaming platforms and Youtube. In this role, you’ll handle post-production, extract key snippets for social media, and collaborate with our marketing team to promote each episode. You’ll also work closely with Alexandra to brainstorm ideas for improving the podcast and growing its audience.
This is a volunteer role, perfect for someone looking to gain experience in podcasting, video editing, and content marketing, while making a real impact in the women’s leadership space.
Key Responsibilities

Podcast Audio & Video Production

Edit and enhance both audio and video recordings from Riverside.fm to ensure professional sound and visual quality.

Cut and refine interviews while maintaining a natural, engaging flow.

Add intro/outro music, transitions, subtitles, and branding elements to video episodes.

Optimize video content for YouTube, ensuring engaging thumbnails, video descriptions, and relevant tags.

Content Creation for Social Media

Identify and extract key snippets from each episode to create short, engaging clips for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Work with the Social Media & Marketing team to create promotional assets, including thumbnails, captions, and audiograms.

Ensure brand consistency across all podcast visuals and social media content.

Podcast & YouTube Growth Strategy

Collaborate with Alexandra to improve content structure, engagement strategies, and discoverability.

Suggest ways to expand audience reach (e.g., YouTube SEO, podcast marketing, guest collaborations).

Monitor podcast and video performance, tracking views, engagement, and retention rates.

Guest Coordination & Episode Management

Assist in scheduling and organizing interviews with high-profile women in leadership.

Ensure a smooth workflow from recording to publishing across platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
✅ Experience in podcast editing and production (using tools like Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Descript).
✅ Experience in video editing (using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve).
✅ Basic knowledge of audio & video enhancement (noise reduction, color correction, volume leveling, adding captions).
✅ Understanding of YouTube optimization (thumbnails, SEO, tags, and analytics).
✅ Ability to identify key moments from an interview to create engaging social media clips.
✅ Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts).
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
✅ Ability to work collaboratively and independently, taking initiative in shaping the podcast’s success.
✅ Passion for women’s leadership, empowerment, and storytelling.
✅ Experience with podcast hosting platforms is a plus!
